Duties and responsibilities
  • Provide first level technical support services to customer remotely via web chat or phone calls
  • Escalating second level IT enquiries to Singapore team
  • Maintenance reporting on servers and firewalls
  • Daily status check on backups
  • Testing of backups
  • Installation of updates
  • Troubleshooting of server errors
Requirements
  • Diploma holder in IT
  • At least 1-2 years of server support experience.
  • Good technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills and must be a fast learner.
  • Strong customer-oriented attitude Working knowledge in areas of Microsoft Windows Servers, Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016.
  • Basic computer parts knowledge, joining of computers to domains and configuration of emails using Outlook and other mail clients.
  • Must be a team player and able to work independently.
  • Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period.
  • 1-year contract job but renewable each year.
  • Flexible working mode (from home).
  • Good Internet speed at home.
  • Must be available to meet up when colleagues are in town.
  • On-job-training provided.
  • Must be able to communicate very well in English.
